Optometry Services from Hampton Roads Eye Associates – Oyster Point

OptometristAs primary eye care providers, we examine, diagnose, treat and manage diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eyes and associated structures as well as diagnose related systemic conditions.

We care for your eye health by examining the internal and external structure of the eyes to diagnose eye diseases including:

  • glaucoma
  • cataracts
  • retinal disorders
  • systemic diseases like hypertension and diabetes
  • vision conditions like nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia.
  • We also determine the a patient’s ability to focus and coordinate the eyes, to judge depth and to see color accurately.

In addition, we prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, low vision aids, vision therapy and medications to treat eye diseases as well as perform certain surgical procedures.

Our mission is to provide safe, efficient, effective eye care in a warm, inviting setting for patients from the Hampton Roads area. Our friendly, highly trained staff is dedicated to providing state–of–the–art medical and surgical care to every patient we treat. We also believe that excellent customer service is essential. There is always a knowledgeable team member on hand to answer any questions you might have, and our board certified resident ophthalmologist are available to tend to your needs. This combination of outstanding patient relations and medical expertise sets our practice apart from others.

Many common ocular conditions are not immediately apparent and don’t have any obvious symptoms. Scheduling a regular eye exam with your optometrist not only ensures that you are wearing the right prescription for your eyewear, but it also gives your eye doctor the opportunity to examine your eyes for asymptomatic conditions. At Hampton Roads Eye Associates you will receive a comprehensive eye exam that looks for both the obvious and the hidden conditions that might be affecting your visual health.

We thank you for allowing us to take care of your eye care needs and look forward to serving you.
